Located in the increasingly popular Oost – Zeeburg, the apartment has all modern appliances and is very well insulated both for heat as well as soundproofing.

Entering the building you first arrive in the communal staircase, with easy slow going stairs going up two flights to the second floor. Enter through the front door and you arrive in the hallway, that leads you to the masterbedroom, a second bedroom/study, the bathroom, a separate toilet and the living area, which has the kitchen en-suite.

The living area includes a dining area, a cosy lounge area and a spacious kitchen. In the lounge area you can enjoy the view (mostly trees) or watch your favourite show on the smart TV with Bluetooth soundbar.

The kitchen is very convenient, with a separate table where you can pour your coffee or eat breakfast. It is provided with a dishwasher, washing machine, SMEG fridge including freezer, toaster, microwave, oven and stove.

From the kitchen you can reach the south-facing balcony, which offers a great place to hang out during summer. The balcony is also accessible through the second bedroom/study.

The building dates from 1990, which means that it mostly consists of solid concrete walls. Therefore the energy costs are relatively low, and contrary to most buildings in Amsterdam, the sound proofing is great, both for noise from the street as well as building noises.

Storage: On groundlevel there is a separate storageroom (5m2).

Neighbourhood:

The Insulindeweg is the main road between the Muiderpoort railwaystation and Flevopark. The apartment is located at the end of the Insulindeweg: away from the crowds, but just a five minute walk away from the trendy restaurants, cafes and bars at Javastraat.

Flevopark is only a 100 meters away. It is a very peaceful park that offers a great possibility for running exercises, barbecuing in the summer, a playground for children or even a relaxing swim at the Flevoparkbad.

Supermarkets are around the corner and the famous Dappermarkt is easily reached by bike or tram (or ten minute walk). The city centre is easily reached by bicycle or public transport (fifteen minutes). The tramstop is right in front of the door with a direct connection to Dam Square.
